‘We’, ‘us’ and ‘our’ means Prudential.
The security of your personal information is our highest priority. As this is so important, our website uses an effective encryption system which protects your communications with us and keeps them private.
When we say personal information, we mean information about you, such as your name, date of birth and contact details. We collect personal information from you that is necessary for us to run our MyView customer research panel or to comply with statutory or contractual requirements. Unfortunately, if you don’t provide all of the information we require this will mean you are unable to join our MyView customer research panel.
Part A - Introduction
Our MyView website is a Prudential website. For the purposes of the European Economic Area data protection law ("Data Protection Law"), we are the data controller.
Our MyView website is operated and hosted by Verve Partners Limited ("Verve") who provide us with, and manage our customer research panel. Verve acts as a data processor, processing your personal information on our behalf for the purposes of providing you with access to our MyView website.
Part B - Acknowledgment
By registering as a member of MyView, you acknowledge you have read and understood, and consent to the processing of personal information collected from you, in accordance with the terms of this Data protection notice.
When you take part in any activity on our MyView website, your personal information is encrypted using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) Version 3 with up to 168 bit encryption keys (depending on your web browser). This encryption stops someone else reading your personal information while it’s in transit. On our MyView website, you will see a padlock symbol at the bottom of the screen which confirms you are in a secure area. Your personal information will also be protected on our internal systems with secure firewalls and other measures to prevent any unauthorised access.
Read more about keeping your personal information secure while online in general.
